You have to give Tina Brown some flipping credit here. Quick. What was on TIME’s cover last issue? Heck, what is on TIME’s cover now? Ms. Brown has put Newsweek—America’s Second Favorite News Weekly—back on the map. Brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it? And they said the magazine was dead as a medium. Ha!

Coda: Some perfectly hysterical things have been happening to me. I was content to write about them once they stopped. Since it ain’t over yet, I don’t want to queer it. Next I will cover my own misadventures over the past few weeks as well as cover a historical gem from the time of the pulps, The Court of Last Resort. Also, I will be reviewing the Captain America movie, hopefully in the context of all of the other Marvel movies of the summer.

PS: I know this is four months late, but I am declaring the Cub’s season over. You heard it here first.
